Learn Researching Skills with Carnegie Mellon Library Arcade
Carnegie Mellon Libraries launched a Library Arcade to help students learn basic researching strategies. These games are still in development, so they’re looking for some comments and suggestions. Feel free to send them your thoughts.
Here are the two games they have right now:
You are a student who must help his peers identify a variety of research materials. Use your mouse to pick up their requests. Then use the catalog to look for helpful resources. Do your best to help them quickly finish their research.

Shelve books in correct order to learn how information is organized and categorized using the Library of Congress Classification system.

These library games were developed by graduate students from the Carnegie Mellon Entertainment Technology Center.
