Wis.dm – Ask Questions and Get Answers

wisdm homepageSeveral weeks ago, I reviewed a bunch of popular question and answer websites. And I received some emails informing me that I had missed some, so I’ve slowly been adding to the list.

Well, one Q & A website that I missed is Wis.dm – a nifty web 2.0 question and answer website where people ask yes and no questions.

Yeah, it has all the features of a typical question/answer website — like member profiles, points for answering questions, user comments, etc — but what’s different is that these questions require simply yes or no answers.

This means that you’ll see quick responses to your question – and many yes/no votes very quickly.

At first, I thought this website seemed kind of boring, but then I started reading through the members’ comments to various questions. And that’s when it started to grow on me.

Even though the website is based around yes and no questions, members are still allowed to leave detailed comments on why they voted a particular way.

And that’s where the real value of this website is.

Some of the questions posted on this site include stuff like . . . “Will you accept my apology . . .” and “Would you still enlist in wars fought on battlefields with swords?” and “Should Bush be impeached?”

The answers left by members are sometimes funny and quite insightful.

And what’s cool is that Wis.dm networks people together who answer questions in a similar fashion. It’s a fun way to meet people who you’d probably get along with (simply because you agree on many similar things).

I recently became a partner with Wis.dm, so if you sign up and ask a question – they’ll buy me a coffee. So ask some questions – and let me know what you think of the website.

Please leave your positive or negative review of the website here.
