Last week, I listed 12 helpful facebook apps that are perfect for any student. Well, I just learned that Google News launched a widget that you can add to your profile, too.

The Google News app allows you to get news delivered right into your Facebook profile page.

You can either choose to view regular news topics (like sports, entertainment, etc.), or you can see stories that your friends have shared with you.

This isn’t exactly school-related, but definitely a way to make your time more productive when your hanging out on Facebook.
