This math hack only works if one of your numbers is even, but it’s a quick way to manipulate numbers to get the answer you need quick.

Simply divide the even number by two, and multiply the second number by two until you get the simplest numbers possible.

For example:

32 x 125 is the same as:
16 x 250 is the same as:
8 x 500 is the same as:
4 x 1000 = 4,000
